Sultanpur National Park is a beautiful place especially in and around Gurgaon. It is less than 30mins drive from Gurgaon and if you live nearer to Dwarka Expressway, than it's right there.
It is definitely a great place for families and friends to hang out on a weekend. You don't need to be a great fan of watching birds to come here but you'll sure become a fan once you come here.
The ticket price to enjoy the birds at Sultanpur National Park is cheap, like INR 5/-, some 25 bucks for still camera and 10 bucks for parking.
Best time to visit is obviously winter months especially December and January as this is the time you'll find the migratory birds. It will be best to carry a good camera with tele-lense and may be binoculars. If you have none, Sultanpur National Park is still a memory to be cherished.
